Hi everyone! Here is my farewell to my beloved blogging platform Vox. I just wanted to be able to control my own blog on my own server. Therefore, I have moved my blog over to Wordpress at shoobysaysthings.com
Again, that is shoobysaysthings.com
Vox, I love you, but you're a little too controlling of my life. I need to be a free spirit!
So to all my readers out there, please head on over to shoobysaysthings.com
Goodbye Vox!
I've had it. I'm done with "traditional" fast food joints. Yesterday, I was at In-N-Out Burger allegedly enjoying a Double Double burger animal style. At the time I believed it was delicious, but the following hours proved to change my mind. This In-N-Out was in Milpitas, and as I was driving back home to San Jose, I began to get more and more sick in my stomach. By the time I had parked into the driveway, I felt as if a baby tar monster had been born in my stomach. Moreover, there was a peculiar after taste that is a staple of In-N-Out burgers that remained and has remained still--well over 15 hours since the meal.
I don't know why, but for the first time in my life, fast food has hurt me so to speak. It is true that I made a pact to myself to begin eating healthier, but I had no clue that going back to my "old" ways would hurt me so much. This after taste sickens me, and I just feel grimy everywhere. Maybe my body is rejecting such litter? Who knows. All I know is that I'm going to be avoiding burger stops whenever I can. This won't stop my from going to Taco Bell; I love that place. However, McDonalds, Burger King, and In-N-Out have all lost a customer to their beef burgers. Throw me a grilled chicken sandwich will ya!
Just thinking about burgers sickens me now. This all seems to have happened overnight. So here it goes, goodbye Mr. Fast-food Burger. It was a great fifteen years I had with you (or less because I didn't eat you as a baby). I bid you adieu and have a happy life sickening more people around the world.
